chronic pain
I understand what you're going through, I struggle with intense pain due to a medical condition, I know what it's like to not be able to do anything due to the pain, but there are always ways to cope. Although I use pain medications, you can try holistic methods, my friend who also suffers with unbearable pain, turn to acupuncture, and she says it helps her a great deal. Perhaps you can reach out to your doctor and discuss what other ways you can relieve your pain.
I feel like you just described my last 13 days. I am always in pain. See a pain management Dr. Take meds.I saw him last week on my 8th day of no sleep. At the breaking point of wanting to die. He just looked at me and actually asked did i want to wind up like Witney. At the time it would have been a blessing. He had know idea the thoughts going thur my mind. I did not want him to double my meds. I just wanted to break the pain I was in at that moment. That was when I realized we are on our own.when it gets to bad and no amount of praying works. I am so sorry you are at this point. I want you to know there is someone that gets it. I did not know you could hurt so bad for so long and live. I do not feel like I am helping you. One day at a time it has to get better!!!!!!
I can so identify Kadence! I have had severe pain, in a cyclic buildup - from not so bad to days on end of wanting it just to stop - for the last 10 years. I would suggest that you "build a toolbox" of therapies that make you feel better, and then spend your time trying out those therapies to see which ones works best for what situation.
For example, sometimes I get extreme muscle cramps and spasms - I find that very warm flowing water jets relieve them, at least 30% for an hour and a half or so. Sometimes light stretches and light (very light) resistance exercises will quiet them, so I will do that gently. Other times I find that distraction works well, I'l make the dog play fetch or I'll call someone I haven't talked to in a while. So I will alternate between these strategies, and others, whenever I get that kind of pain. And yes, I take my time with them so as to extend the period of relief and the psychological boost i get doing something to fight back!
Sometimes I get a "crushing" feeling along certain tendons and muscles, I find that ice and cold water do wonders to ease the bruised feeling. Sometimes a rolling pin lightly along the taut band helps, too. After a long time I'm still looking for a more effective remedy.
I've built up quite an arsenal of tools and strategies that I know work to dispel at least 25% of my various pains and ills. It gives me relief just to know that I can do something about them and not have to be a "victim" or at the whim of my body all the day long - I can control some of it!

You should get a medical help. Also, there are holistic medical doctors, try to research what kind of treatments they have. Wishing you to feel better. God bless you.
